Candidates filing for a place on the 2014 GOP Primary Ballet
Andy Isaacs, Rick Gommert, Frank Summer, Dave Barkemeyer, Kyle Deal (Interim Chairman), Sam Berry, Donna Orsag, Jay Beathard, and Chuck "Tank" Balch

Opening day of the filing period for the 2014 Primary Elections was brisk for the Republican Party of Milam County as nine candidates came in to file for seven of the eleven spots on the 2014 GOP Primary Ballet.

Candidates filing are as listed below:

County Judge

County Treasurer

Donna Gilbert Orsag – incumbent

County Commissioner (unexpired term)

Chuck “Tank” Balch – incumbent

Justice of the Peace, Precinct 1

Rick Gommert – incumbent

Justice of the Peace, Precinct 2

Sam Berry – incumbent

Justice of the Peace, Precinct

Kim Stewart

Constable, Precinct 3 (unexpired term)
