Hope
everyone had a great weekend. I just wanted to put out a short reminder that
tomorrow evening (August 13th) is the Milam County Republican Women’s
annual “Old-Fashioned Rally in the Park!”
Come on out
and join us for some free food, some fellowship, and the opportunity to talk to
and hear from your elected Federal, State, and Local officials and your
Republican Candidates for office this fall. The festivities start at 5:00 pm at
the Cameron City Park with free food and patriotic music performed by the Yoe
High Band.
So many
times I am asked questions by Milam County residents about what it is that our
elected officials are doing and or candidates will be doing in office; well now
is your chance to interact with the very politicians you want to hear from.
Representative
Bill Flores will be here to talk about what is going on in Washington so come
by and talk to him. State House Candidate Dr. Marsha Farney, State Board of
Education Candidates Tom Maynard and all the candidates for the 3rd State
Court of Appeals will be on hand also.
This is your
best opportunity before the November 6th election to be a part of
the process and to show Washington and Austin that Milam County is serious
about what is going on with our country. The Republican Women of Milam County have
worked hard to put this event on and to get these individuals to town to spend
the evening with us; now it is our time to support them and our candidates by
coming out in force!!
So come to
Cameron Monday night and we’ll have a grand old time – PLUS FREE FOOD!!
If you have
any questions let me know,
Bill
