It has been a busy first week. I wanted to let you know how things have gone to date.

Greg Kouba, 46, of Thorndale, Deputy Sheriff-Bastrop County

Tax-Assessor
Kolette Morgan (Incumbent), 43, of Cameron
Karen Barry, 58, business manager of Cameron

County Comm, Pct 1
George Tomek (Incumbent), 46, of Cameron

County Comm, Pct 3
John Fisher, 63, of Rockdale, Rancher & Auctioneer
Odes Foster, 69, of Milano, Insurance Adjuster

Constable, Pct 1
John Anderle (Incumbent), 34, of Cameron

Constable, Pct 2
Charlie West (Incumbent), 63, of Cameron
Kenny Schneebeli, 35, of Cameron, County Inspector

So far these 12 have come in to file; however, I am expecting several more between now and the end of the filing period being December 15th.

Also planning to file for County Treasurer is Julie Biar. She is currently gathering signatures in support of her campaign for Treasurer.
